Outstanding Performance Awards Presented
Outstanding Performance Awards, established by TBE President Rex Geveden, are presented to employees who demonstrate outstanding or exceptional contributions on a project, contract, or business effort. The awards are also presented in recognition of the excellence recipients have displayed in performing their jobs and the impact their work has had on the Company.
Charles Gilmore and Coty Johns, both thermal analysts on the Cargo Mission Contract, Aerospace Systems, received the award for the outstanding analyses work they performed on the STS-130 mission. During a weekend, they assisted in the completion of additional analyses requested by NASA to address the Node 3/Cupola operations anomaly. They also received appreciation for their outstanding efforts from NASA STS-130 Flight Director Dana Weigel and Lockheed Martin management.

The following employees received the President’s Award for the outstanding work they performed for the Flex Hose Rotary Coupler Flight Support Equipment Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit and Acceptance Review: Jimmy Eckles, Alan Elliot, Phyllis Grela, Ivy Nelson, and Patsy Smith. The audit resulted in no major findings. The customer noted that this was one of the smoothest audits they had ever attended and attributed its success to the team’s dedication, hard work, and outstanding focus and coordination.
