TBE Receives Gold Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Teledyne Brown Engineering announced that the company has received a 2010 Gold Boeing Performance Excellence Award.  Teledyne Brown is one of just 141 Boeing suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. To qualify for the award, Teledyne Brown maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010.

 “We are very pleased to achieve this distinction with Boeing,” said TBE President Rex Geveden.  “It reflects the pride we have in our work and our complete organizational commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.”    

Teledyne Brown provides engineering, systems engineering, test and evaluation, and logistics support to the Missile Defense Agency/Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.  This includes requirements development and flow-down, long-range test planning/scheduling, hardware and software configuration management, data management, development and management of test resources, detailed test planning, major test execution, and coordination. Additionally, the Company provides Deployment and Sustainment support that includes all aspects of system site planning, deployment planning, system sustainment, deployment acquisition, logistics engineering and support,  human systems integration, facility requirements documentation, facility acquisitions, and environmental compliance.
