2010 Booster Club Board – From left: Geveden, Osborn, Crumpler, Dawson, Weston, Beaumont, Muzzey, Conway, Zarzour, Knight, and Taylor.

Outstanding Performance Awards Presented

Outstanding Performance Awards, established by TBE President Rex Geveden, are presented to employees who demonstrate outstanding or exceptional contributions on a project, contract, or business effort.  The awards are also presented in recognition of the excellence recipients have displayed in performing their jobs and the impact their work has had on the Company.

Members of the 2010 Teledyne Booster Board received the President’s Outstanding Performance Award for their ongoing efforts in coordinating recreational and discounted events for employees throughout the year.  Each Board member volunteers his or her time to perform their individual board position functions as well as shares the responsibility of coordinating such events as Havac Hockey night, Huntsville Stars night, a canoe trip, the Christmas Craft Fair, and the Cajun cookout.  They also work jointly with the Company in hosting the annual Christmas Party.

Those receiving the award and their position on the 2010 board were: Leigh Weston, president; Ron Beaumont, first vice president; Brooke Dawson, recreation; Carrie Crumpler, secretary; Brian Conway, programs; Brad Taylor, treasurer; Karyn Muzzey, website coordinator; Jackie Zarzour, welfare; Suzanne Knight, membership; and Darrell Osborn, publications.

Also receiving Outstanding Performance Awards for their contributions to the recent successful DCMA Surveillance Audit were Anna Curenton, Patti Rehage, Paul Armbrester, and John Clausen.

According to their nominator, the 6-month audit of TBE’s Earned Value Management System (EVMS) as it applied to the GMD program was successful due to the dedication, knowledge, and attention to detail by the audit team.  There were no findings or corrective actions from the audit.

Passing the audit allows TBE to continue to bid on EVMS contracts, a requirement that is being applied to more and more DoD and NASA contracts.

TBE President Rex Geveden presented the awards to all the recipients for their efforts.
