Blass Promoted

Charlie Blass has been promoted to Director, Strategy and Plans, for the Teledyne Engineered Systems segment, according to TBE President Rex Geveden.  In his new role, Blass will primarily be responsible for strategic planning and will report directly to Geveden.

Blass has been with Teledyne for over 37 years in the Quality Assurance, Control, and Strategic Planning areas.  Most recently, he served as the Director of Quality Management for TSI, and prior to that, he was the Deputy Director of Safety and Product Assurance for TBE.

Blass earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, and he is a Senior Examiner and Team Leader for the Malcolm Baldrige-based Alabama Quality Award, a position he has held for 12 years.
