Lide Joins TBE as Aerospace Systems Business Development Manager

Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) is pleased to announce that George Lide has joined the company as a Business Development Manager. In his role, Lide will be responsible for capturing new business and growing existing contracts within the Aerospace Systems Group.
With over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Lide has worked on a wide range of Space programs that include Spacelab, the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, Chandra X-ray Observatory, Orbital Space Plane, Constellation, and Orion. He began his career with NASA and went on to work for several major aerospace contractors, the last of which was SAIC, before joining TBE.
Lide holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he minored in operations research. While at NASA, he received an Outstanding Contribution Award for Spacelab 1 development and flight support as the lead engineer for the flight computers/software.
Lide is also a Past Chairman of the Board of the National Space Club – Huntsville Chapter, and is an American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Associate Fellow. He and his wife, Laura, live in Huntsville along with their son Christopher.
