TBE Achieves “Gold” Status in Microsoft Partnership

Teledyne Brown has renewed its partnership with Microsoft and achieved “Gold” status for the second consecutive year.  The Company has participated in the Microsoft Partner Program for 10 consecutive years.

Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies and have the closest working relationship with Microsoft.  Partners have access to the resources and support needed to stand out in the marketplace, including such top-level benefits as utilizing their technical services coordinator, access to the Partner Knowledge Base, and a priority listing in Microsoft directories.

This partnership provides a tremendous benefit to TBE.  The Company saves nearly $100,000 each year on software licenses (development, training, and production), receives free priority technical support, and has access to tons of sales and marketing material for business development.  These resources and TBE’s Microsoft expertise can help the Company win more software development and information technology business.

Several people have made significant contributions to the program and have played key roles in TBE achieving “Gold.” They are:

Joe Parker (Defense Systems), Program Administrator, for ensuring that the Company continues to meet eligibility requirements.  This includes maintaining customer references, having customers complete satisfaction surveys, promoting required Microsoft certifications, and testing company products to ensure that they meet Microsoft platform requirements.

Johnny Brock (Defense Systems) and his teams for producing quality software products with Microsoft tools that qualify TBE for the partner program.

Jim Roden (MIS) for paying the membership fee out of his budget each year.

Joe Pierce (MIS) for serving as the technical point of contact and assisting with the renewal process.

Harry Chaffee (Vice President of Contracts) for reviewing the partnership agreement each year and informing company personnel of important partnership announcements.

Mollie Helms and Homer Phillips (Finance) for ensuring that the membership fee gets paid on time to complete the enrollment process.

In addition, many employees have maintained Microsoft certifications that allow the Company to meet eligibility requirements.  These include:  Jonathan Cotter, Mike Manley, Joel Milstead, Joe Pierce, Chad Sanders, Johnny Savage, Ronald Sedam, and Fred Yarbrough.
