Miller shows off his transformed body.

Miller Featured on Bodybuilding Site

John Miller, son of TBE employee Johnny Miller, was recently named “Male Transformation of the Week” on the Body Building.com website.

Miller, who has always been interested in bodybuilding, lifted weights and strength trained to stay in shape when he played football in high school.  When he started college, however, he found that the demands of college life diverted him from his workout routine, and he gradually slacked off his training and lost his drive to stay fit.

Miller works out.

In the fall of 2009, he decided to get back on track and start working out again.  He followed his usual routine at first, but decided he really wanted to get serious and transform his body – he wanted to look his best and have “six-pack abs.”  So, in February 2010, Miller begin his new regiment of working out five to six days a week, with workouts consisting of strength training and an intense abdominal routine as well as eating a clean, healthy diet.

In researching what it takes to get really healthy and body build in a safe manner, Miller discovered that what he put in his body was responsible for how he looked.  He started eating six to seven times a day with meals that consisted of mainly protein, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates.  With the help of healthy supplements that his diet wasn’t completely providing, Miller created an efficient, economical diet that allowed him to eat nutritious food every 3 hours.  With new discipline, determination, and a growing love for bodybuilding, he initially lost about 16 pounds, then gained back about 8 pounds in muscle mass, ultimately losing about 12 percent in body fat.

Today, Miller continues to maintain his new lifestyle and is determined to keep the results coming.  Encouraging others to do what he has done, he noted, “It’s not easy at first, but if you set your mind on a goal and truly dedicate yourself to completing that goal, anything is possible.”
