Teledyne Brown and the Teledyne Booster Club hosted the annual Teledyne holiday dinner and dance held at the Von Braun Center South Hall Dec. 4. About 300 attendees enjoyed a festive evening of activities.

Highlights of the evening included a buffet dinner, chocolate fountain with special treats, an array of desserts, live dance music by “Juice,” and valuable door prizes that included a Garmin GPS and 32-in. flat-screen LCD TV. Performing Christmas music for the first time at the event was the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chamber Choir.

2009 Booster Club President Brian Conway led off the evening activities with a brief synopsis of the Club’s activities over the past year. He was followed by TBE President Rex Geveden, who swore in the new 2010 Booster Club Board.

Board officers and directors for 2010 are: President, Leigh Weston; First Vice President, Ron Beaumont; Secretary, Carrie Crumpler; Treasurer, Brad Taylor; Recreation Director, Brooke Dawson; Programs Director, Brian Conway; Website Coordinator, Karyn Muzzey, Welfare Director, Jackie Zarzour; Membership Director, Suzanne Knight; and Publications Director, Darrell Osborn.

The Club would like to thank Sam McNully, husband of employee Karen McNully, for giving the blessing prior to the meal. Also, a special thanks to Brian Conway for making arrangements for a big-screen TV to be on site for the diehard Alabama fans who wanted to watch the SEC Championship game.

All employees are urged to join the Booster Club for a minimal membership fee of $12. It is easy to do and helps provide the funds for the Club’s activities throughout the year. Joining is simple – just complete a membership card and indicate to have your membership fee payroll deducted.
