TBE and Booster Club Host Holiday Dinner/Dance

Almost 300 employees and their spouses or dates attended the annual Teledyne Christmas dinner and dance held at the Von Braun Center South Hall Dec. 5.

A buffet dinner, chocolate fountain with special treats, an array of desserts, live music, and valuable door prizes highlighted the event.

2008 Booster Club President Darrell Osborn led off the evening activities with a brief synopsis of the Club’s activities over the past year.  He was followed by TBE President Rex Geveden, who welcomed everyone to the holiday affair and swore in the new 2009 Booster Club officers.

Board officers and directors for 2009 are:  President, Brian Conway; Second Vice President, Leigh Weston; First Vice President, Bob Heinisch; Secretary, Carrie Crumpler; Treasurer, Brad Taylor; Recreation Director, Brooke Dawson; Programs Director, Ron Beaumont; Website Coordinator, Karyn Muzzey, Welfare Director, Jackie Zarzour; Membership Director, Suzanne Knight; and Publications Director, Darrell Osborn.

The Club would also like to thank Board member Brad Taylor for giving the blessing prior to the meal.
