Harry Chaffee Named Vice President of Contracts

Harry A. Chaffee was named Vice President of Contracts in January 2009.  He is an expert in contract administration and has more than 21 years of experience in the field.

Prior to his new position, Chaffee served as Director of Contracts at Teledyne Brown for 10 years, responsible for the management of both contract administration and subcontract administration activities.  In his new position as vice president, he is responsible for all contractual matters in the Engineered Systems and Energy and Power Systems Segments.  In addition, Chaffee is the Company’s Export Administrator and serves as the Ethics Officer for the Company’s Ethics Program.

Chaffee, who joined TBE in 1992, holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in English from Florida State University, and an M.A. in English and B.A. in English/Psychology from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Chaffee is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager and a Fellow of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), where he has served as National Director, President, and Education Chairperson for the Huntsville chapter.
