Charles Anding has taken on the role of Chief Engineer for Defense Systems to support the strategic growth of the group and the Company. Anding, who is a 2007 TBE Fellow, will apply his engineering design and development expertise to existing work and new pursuits. He previously served as Chief Engineer for Aerospace Systems.
Wesley Cleveland, an employee of TBE in the manufacturing arena for over 22 years, was promoted to Director of Environmental Health and Safety. He was promoted in recognition of his increased responsibilities associated with the amplified manufacturing activity at Manufacturing Plant 1, bringing Manufacturing Plant 2 on-line, and the manufacturing activity at Plant 2.
Jeff Holley was promoted to Director of Manufacturing Operations and will continue to be responsible for managing manufacturing operations personnel and assets at TBE’s main plant and at the Company’s new manufacturing facility in Limestone County. Holley has managed and manufactured hardware for the aerospace, defense, and commercial industries.
Ed Massey was promoted to Director of Space Hardware Programs and is responsible for managing all programs within the area, including cargo mission hardware and the design and manufacture of the Ares roll control system. Massey, who has supported the Company’s NASA work for more than 24 years, has vast experience in systems engineering, technical and project/program management, and the design and development of hardware for scientific instruments and experiments.
Johnny Miller has been promoted to Director of Media Services (formerly the Publications Department). Miller, who has worked in many areas and has a wide array of experience, has taken on increasing responsibility during his 29 years with the Company. He has used his knowledge in the multimedia arena and with still and video photography to increase business and expand his group’s capabilities.
Mike Soutullo has been named the new Chief Engineer for all of Aerospace Systems. Soutullo, who previously served as Chief Engineer for the Systems Development and Operations Support (SDOS) contract, has years of management experience with the Cargo Mission contract and more than 27 years of engineering experience.
Brad Taylor, an employee of Teledyne since 1986 and Assistant Program Manager for Ballistic Missile Targets at TSI for the last 8 years, has been promoted to Targets Program Manager at TSI. The Targets Program is TSI’s largest contract task. Taylor has assumed the overall program management responsibilities, including contract and financial administration and direct customer interface with the Government Program Manager and Deputy. He was selected to lead this complex program following the retirement of Mike Gaines last year.
