Bass Club Kicks Off Season

The Teledyne Bass Club has kicked off their 2009 season.  Employees are invited to join the club for only $20 per year and $20 per person for each tournament.  Participants do not have to own a boat to participate.  Cash prizes are given in different categories each tournament.

New officers for the year are:  Darren Gero, President; CP Rieser, Vice President/Treasurer; and Tournament Chairman, John Byrd.

The Club held their first tournament Mar. 7 at Guntersville.  Eight anglers participated, pairing up in five boats.  Darren Gero and his uncle, Mark, took top honors at the tournament, catching a total of 12.76 pounds of fish.  Gero won big fish as well, reeling in a bass weighing 6 lb 10 oz (see photo).
