TBE’S Manufactured Products Receives Singleton Award

The 2008 Teledyne Henry Singleton Award has been presented to Teledyne Brown Engineering’s Manufactured Products business unit, led by Vice President Mike DeFatta.

The announcement of the award was recently made at the corporate office in Thousand Oaks, CA, by Teledyne Chairman, President, and CEO Dr. Robert Mehrabian.  Named for Teledyne’s founder, the award is given to the business unit that demonstrates the most significant year-over-year improvement in financial performance among all the Teledyne companies.  In this particular case, Manufactured Products improved sales from $10M in 2007 to $50M in 2008.

The trophy, which is an impressive glass-etched monolith, is on display in the Plant 1 lobby.
